CEO Cancer Gold Standard™
Accreditation Application Instructions
The CEO Cancer Gold Standard™, described in At-A-Glance: The Five Pillars of the CEO Cancer Gold Standard is a workplace based initiative of the CEO Roundtable on Cancer, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fighting cancer in workplaces across the United States. The Gold Standard, which is a standard of excellence created by Roundtable Member CEOs, focuses on three goals:
-
Risk Reduction
-
Early Detection
-
Quality Care
To achieve these goals, the Gold Standard focuses on cancer-related activities in five critical areas. In each of the five areas of focus, known as the five pillars, organizations that adopt the CEO Cancer Gold Standard ™ maintain a culture that encourages healthy lifestyles and provides support when a diagnosis of cancer becomes a reality. In addition, they offer benefits and programs that lower the risk of cancer, detect it earlier, and provide access to high-quality treatment, including clinical trials.
